"An Italian Evening"

There was an Opera at the kid's school on Halloween!  How strange this year we did not get into any of the Holidays.  However, I did whip out all my Halloween quilts and some decorations.  Here it is Christmas Eve and nothing is out!  I called my Mom tonight and she is doing well.  So is my Dad.  So, I'm happy!

This performance was very interesting.  It is featuring:

Wilma Vernocchi, soprano
David Posnett, piano (and the kid's music teacher at the Sultan school)
and
The 'Muscat String Quartet'

The coolest thing, of course, was to meet Ms. Vernocchi!

Thanks for stopping by!

Anne: Amal did but Ali got bored. He has been enamored with the Cello for years but decided he did not like this type of music afterall. Still, he can do something else once he learns right? The funniest thing happened at the Opera. Just when the Diva was about to open her mouth, some kid in the audience coughed or sneezed really loud. Ali started laughing; I started laughing and Amal started laughing. Our bodies were convulsing with laughter until I started crying trying to keep it in. It was one of those, you know, once you start laughing you can't stop!!?? Probably because we SHOULD NOT HAVE been laughing. Anyway, that is what we talk about that night!

Julia: Thank you, I hope you all had a great holiday season too!

CFJ: Thank you, may Allah keep them safe and happy, Ameen!
