I finished sewing the rows together on my Spiderweb. I laid out the top to have a look to determine exactly what I was going to do with it. Well, Ms. Peach came on over and made herself comfortable! I guess she likes it!!
Then Uki came over and also laid down on it. I think they like the sound of the foundation paper.
I don't know what she saw, but she went to town. It is ok people, she has her Soft Paws so as long as she doesn't use her teeth; it's all good.
Don't mind the mess; the computer needs to be stripped of all it's contents and then the black bag needs to go to charity.
I'm not sure if I will add a border to this or not. I'm thinking not. I'll quilt it and bind it and turn it into a wall hanging. Maybe....

great work Alia, was that all from scraps?
Hi. Thank you. Yes, it is from all scraps! I want to make it bigger but just can not fathom the idea of doing 25 more blocks to get it the size I want. Now, it will be a wallhanging for my studio. I think?
It's beautiful, I know how you feel about not wanting to do any more. I feel that way about my log cabin!
you'll have to show us how it's done!
Its beautiful and that is what i call patience...dont think i have that kind of patience...
Your cat is the cutest reminded me of my Bella she was persian too but died in Gonu
Laila: Thank you. Do you know how to paper piece? You know, it is 25 blocks more to double it to be a decent lap quilt but that means 100 more triangles to do as it takes 4 triangles to make one block. HELL NO!!
Mayya: Thank you. I tell ya, I lost my patience with this one! I typically DO NOT LIKE paper piecing! Thank you about my cat. Sorry about yours!!
hello there,
hope this helps.
With my spiderweb I took one block, that was 12x12. I cut out a back piece that was about 14x14 and folded it in half, then cut down the fold.
Sew a small hem on either side where you just cut.
Put those two pieces on top of your quilt square, right sides together and sew all the way around. Turn right side out and put your pillow form (a 12x12 pillow form) in through the slit...
I hope this helps you!
Thanks Philigry! You rock! I'm tired now but will have at it tomorrow!
