My friend Karen brought me a box of Ding Dongs back from the US. I was so surprised. She came back mid August and mid Ramadan and it took a while before she got them to me. In the meantime, her kids ate most of them! So, she grabbed the four remaining ones and put them in a baggie and put a note with my name on it. I was sitting here at my desk thinking I should be in bed but there is so much to do and then I grabbed my camera and snapped away.
It's a Hostess product and an experience for many Americans!
Yep, love these little guys!

they look so yummy and since I love chocolates then it has to be good :D
They are really yummy! I wish they sold Hostess products here! They are great with either a cold glass of milk or a hot cup of tea or coffee. All different experiences! Hey, when I FIND KDD chocolate milk again, I will try one of them with that! Ooohh...
Am I a BAD momma for not sharing with the kids???
oooohhh this looks so goood! bil3afya!
You made me smile today. I had a friend growing up who's mom had a junk food drawer at her home. To this day I still dream about that drawer and the ho-hos and ding dongs...
There's just something about those snack cakes that bring out the kids in us!
CFJ: I hope you can try one one day! What does BIL3AFYA mean? My little translators are doing homework!
Jean: I sometimes wonder if it is for that reason that I love them. First because they made the journey from HOME and then because it takes me back to my childhood and that is always nice to remember! Having said all that, they are yummy!
ho hos!! wow. I'll have to do a post on all hostess products and yes, I have hostess 'story'!!
at the beginning of each school year my mom let us pick out one "junk food" to take in our lunch. (that was it, when they were gone, we didn't get any more junk food) my pick was always ding dongs!!! yummmm
Tamara: That is so cute! Once they were 'gone' that was it for the week or for the school year? LOL I was going to and I will still say, 'Welcome' to my blog but your name is unique and I thought I had seen it before. Sure did, you are one of my first followers! It was nice to see that you are from East Texas. I will, thanks to you, be not only perusing your site but all my followers! Thank you for stopping by and commenting!
