Mystery Quilt/Summer Challenge...here we go!!

Hello!  I just wanted to post about my Summer Challenge.  In the local Guild, we joined a Mystery Quilt oh, hmm, last Fall.  Of course, I had to join but, of course, this got put on the back burner!  I ran out of the purple fabric.  Do I need more?  Uh, yeah.  Have any??

So, in May, when the guild had its' last meeting for the season; we signed up to work on a WIP (work in progress), and I signed on to finish this puppy by the meeting in September.  The penalty for NOT finishing over the summer months is to pay the guild's kitty 10 OR (approx. $30)!  What? I ain't payin' NO BODY NO HOW nothin'!!!!  So, I better get to work.

Crap!  I lost clue three but lovely Maya got it to me and then I have been hem-hawing about my choice of fabs. I think I used one in the Reversible Quilt (golden color)!! We had to make 12 of these.

CLUE ONE...
Then, we took some more fabric and made 48 of these.

CLUE TWO...
Stay tuned for CLUE THREE...

Thanks for stopping by...

Oh Alia I just LURVE your new header photo, what colours, what beauty!

I chose not to say I would finish a WIP at the meeting LOL, just as well or I would be RO 10 poorer next month.

Hi Gals!

Laila: Thank you! I made a horrible mistake and it is going to be a bitch to fix. However, AJ, aka CrazyMom Quilts, advised me to make two. Eh, I don't think so!

It would actually be fun, cuz we would have more scraps to choose from and a little bit of all of you would be in the quilt! Awwww,....

Mayya: When one signs up, you get the first, well, introduction. This intro tells you what fabrics you need and how much (light, med light, dark, etc). Then, each month, you get a new clue and you have to produce each finished clue at the meeting to get the next clue. Then, the final instructions are given on how to put it together but it is your choice at that point! I really enjoy them!

Isra: (not too sure what to call ya!) Thank you. I felt that my old one was too dark. I got bored too. I know, I LOVE it too! Did anyone see Uki? I refuse to pay so I need to get busy!

Thanks gals!
