Today, I remembered that four years ago today I got the worst news of my life. It was devastating. Sorry that I can not spill more. It has taken me a very long time (3 years) to deal with it and now this past year has been better for me. So, I make a mental note and express this information on here.
I carried on with my day. I did not have to cook today as there were plenty of leftovers until I noticed that the kids are not fasting and devoured what I had thought was enough for tonight. I quickly made a plate for my husband and myself of the leftovers and now I have to figure out what to feed these kids!
Anyway, the day progresses and I need to get myself in the kitchen to make Iftar.
First, I want to tell you all that I was doing laundry and I stepped in this crevice that I KNEW was there but did not see while going under the shorter cable and fell. I went to the far right and crashed into the wall. I hurt the palms of my hands and my right thigh and right hip.
The maid (whom is so new and I don't know her) started massaging my hip! So embarrassing! Anyway, I will have a huge bruise but no real damage is done.
I'm a big baby so any kind words from my readers would be most appreciated!!

MashAllah. I'm sure it's really time consuming and tiring to take care of the kids, cook and have other things to do.
I'm sorry about the 4 year bad news thing. I hope after this long time you are able to cope now.
Ouch! Salamat. You should rest. Hehe cute maid:p
That sounds painful ! Lots of arnica cream on the bruises will help ! Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon
OMG ..... u fell... I hope ur doing good?? I hope ur not bruised and it wont be hurting bad by now....
and hope the coming years are filled with lods of good news for u :)
Sending lots of hugs and love...
Be sure to take it easy as I've learned a fall may leave a bruise where you land but may also leave you with stiff muscles other places the next day.
I've been following your blog for a while now and have enjoyed so much reading about your life in Oman :)
